Cantata to Highlight the Advent Season at EPC

The Elizabeth Presbyterian Church Choir presents
"Sing Joy to All the World," a Christmas cantata,
with performances at 8:30 and 10:00
Sunday morning, December 17.

Invite your family and friends to hear this wonderful presentation
of the Christmas story in word and song.
You'll recognize many of your favorite Christmas carols
arranged in new and delightful ways.
Directed by John Dahm, accompanied by Susan Spear
and joined by various musical members of the community,
the cantata will be a joyful experience for all.

Other Advent Activities and Services

Advent is always a special season at Elizabeth Presbyterian Church.
During these four weeks leading up to Christmas,
you'll find special times for every member of your family.

On each of the first three Sunday mornings,
we'll have stories about the early life of Jesus
for children K through 6th grade
during both the 8:30 and 10 a.m. worship services.
And we'll have craft making from 9:30 to 10 so that kids
from both services can participate.

On the morning before Christmas, December 24th,
we'll have just one casual and joyful worship service at 10 a.m.

And then on Christmas Eve,
two special candlelight services
witnessing to the light that came into the world
on the first Christmas long ago.

Three Elizabeth Churches Join to Give Thanks

Come one, come all to Elizabeth Presbyterian Church
on the night before Thanksgiving.

Peace In Christ and United Methodists of Elizabeth are joining with EPC in sponsoring an evening of singing, giving thanks...and lots of pie. And the whole community is invited.

Bring your family, bring your neighbors and friends and join us for this annual Thanksgiving event. Oh, and bring a pie, too, if you can. If you can't, don't worry. There's always plenty.

It all starts at 7:00 pm this Wednesday, at Elizabeth Presbyterian Church. See you there!
