Easter Cantata to Kick Off Holy Week at EPC

An Easter Cantata, performed by the EPC Choir and friends, will be presented at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Palm Sunday at Elizabeth Presbyterian Church.

Under the direction of John Dahm, accompanied by pianist Susan Spear, and narrated by Marc Grivas, the choir aims to express God's endless love for the world in a moving musical and worship experience entitled, "What Love Is This?" The cantata walks through the last days of Christ's earthly life from the jubilant entrance into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday to the difficult days of rejection and crucifixion to the triumphant resurrection of Easter Sunday.

The music, ranging from celebratory to contemplative, was composed by Lloyd Larson, Mary McDonald, Brad Nix, Marty Parks and Larry Shackley.

Child care will be available at both service.

Potluck lunch to follow 10:30 performance.

Following the second performance, EPC will host a potluck lunch across the street at the American Legion Hall. All are welcome.

Holy Week continues with services on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter morning.

Bring the kids and come join us for an interactive experience including the baking of unleavened bread and the washing of feet, as we seek to fully understand what Jesus and his disciples experienced during this unforgettable week in Christian history.
On Good Friday, you are invited to experience the Passion of Christ and the true freedom we have thanks to his amazing work of love on the cross.
And on Easter morning, we will celebrate the resurrection of our Savior, the joy of of his presence among us, and the hope of eternal life through him.
