Youth Mission Trip to Navajo Nation set for July

A great service experience and adventure
is unfolding for Elizabeth Students

In late July, the Elizabeth Presbyterian Church youth group will be heading for Cortez, Colorado, to bring the Gospel and a helping hand to the Navajo Nation.

Among the possible hands-on service opportunities will be work projects, kids club and one-on-one reading mentoring with Navajo elementary school kids.

In addition to service work, students will get to experience fresh homemade Navajo fry bread, see a demonstration of traditional horsehair pottery and learn about Navajo heritage. Side trips to Mesa Verde and McPhee Reservoir will provide educational, recreational and hiking opportunities, as well.

Daily group meetings for Bible study and prayer will also be held, as we grow in our faith and experience God's love for us and all people.

Contact Otto Pruitt (260-704-1005) or Pastor Bruce if you have questions.
