VBS To Be Rip-Roaring Good Time with Jesus

YAHOO!
Vacation Bible School is coming June 3 - 7.
Round up your friends and come on down.

"SonWest Roundup," this year's VBS at EPC, is shaping up to be a rip-roaring good time with Jesus. From 9 a.m. till 12:15 each day we'll be playing Rodeo Ring Bible Games, creating Trading Post Crafts, telling Saddle Up Bible Stories and just generally having a Wild-West good time.  So kids in grades K through 6, gather up your friends and come to Elizabeth Presbyterian Church the first week of June.

Parents, click here to register online, or you can reserve your child's place by calling 303-688-4825. Or sign up at the door at 8:50 am June 3rd.

We're located at 325 South Banner Street in Elizabeth.

IF YOU'RE GOING TO RIDE THE ELEPHANT ROCK ON JUNE 2,
RIDE IT FOR THE ORPHANS!

As a staunch member of the Zimbabwe Mission Partnership, EPC is working hard to promote the partnership's most important fundraising event of the year! All proceeds from the event will benefit the Heather Chimhoga Orphan Care Center in northeastern Zimbabwe, where the organization is now feeding more than 1,000 children every day!

The Subaru Elephant Rock Cycling Festival, which takes place in Castle Rock, Colorado, is one of the state's premier cycling events. It's great fun, whether you ride as an individual and go for the century mark, or you ride as a family on one of the shorter routes. And when you ride for Team Zimbabwe, you're not only having a great time, you're helping children who have nobody else to help them.

After you register, the system will automatically generate a fundraising page for you. You could just "donate" the minimum $150 per rider (covers registration fee, t-shirt, BBQ lunch and after-ride entertainment). But the whole idea is to raise as much money as you can! And it's easy.

Once you have your own fundraising page, all you need to do is email the link to all your friends and relatives, and they'll do the rest. They just click on the link and follow instructions to donate in your name online. You can soup up your fundraising page with pictures and all kinds of fun things – even do like one couple did, making their own insane YouTube video to motivate their friends to donate.

AND DID WE MENTION PRIZES FOR THE TOP FUNDRAISERS?

For the individual rider who raises the most money, and for the family that raises the most money, we'll arrange a great summer getaway to Winter Park, with four free nights at the Zephyr Mountain Lodge.

DO IT FOR THE ORPHANS.

Even if you don't ride, you can help. If you know anybody who rides, tell them about Team Zimbabwe. And tell them to tell everybody they know. "Like" Team Zimbabwe on FaceBook. Do anything you can to help the cause. Do it for Loveness, a 12-year old orphan who lives with her blind grandmother and tries to take care of her. Do it for the jersey, you'll never see another one like it. Do it for the fun. Do it for the challenge. Do it for Hope. Whatever! But do it!
